I am Agnes Legradi, private yoga teacher, offering a variety of private sessions in Eltham SE9. I am happy to guide and help you on your journey to achieve your happiness and to have a full experience with me on my private yoga sessions.

Why private Yoga?

What private yoga sessions offer you, is that you can rely on the undivided attention and guidance of your Yoga teacher. Each session is tailored for you, taking account of your physical abilities and aspirations. You might would like to change your life for better, aiming to let go bad habits, which do not serve your health and well-being anymore and you need support to do that. As your guide I will give you all necessary support verbally and mentally to achieve your goals.

Also on a private yoga session there is the opportunity to modify the asanas offering alternative poses and using the appropriate props to adjust to your abilities. Either you are beginner to Yoga or more advanced practitioner aiming to take your practice to the next level, private yoga is the perfect choice for you.

Private yoga session vs. yoga classes

There are benefits to practise yoga in a group with like minded people, but it can also have downsides. Even though one of the fundamental messages of yoga is not to judge and compare yourself to others, as a beginner, you might feel intimidated to join or continue a group class.

It can be physically very challenging. You might be not able to keep up with the group, also not being in a position to see the yoga instructor properly. You may have to rely on copying the student next to you, who may not carry out the asana with correct alignment. This can lead you to cause injury yourself.

Also, despite filling in a health form, giving information about any injuries, the instructor is limited in a group class by having students on different levels. They will not be able to assist and align everyone correctly or give alternative options to complete the asanas. You might have stiffness and tension in a specific area of your body which needs extra attention and tailored asanas. This can be offered only by private yoga session.

One to one yoga for you as an individual

You are an individual, with individual needs, abilities and goals.

If carried out properly, with thoughtful guidance of your private yoga teacher, Yoga can help you recover from previous injuries or illness with more ease and speed. By strengthening your core and improving your balance you can avoid further injuries.

You will have insight into the mechanism of the poses and complete them with more understanding.  You can learn that the stiffness or weakness within specific areas of your body is telling you something important and that the yoga asanas have impact beyond your physical level.

With regular practice of Yoga for the Spine you will enjoy improved physical flexibility and mental clarity just after a few sessions.

Hatha Yoga

Through the mindful practice of Hatha Yoga You will learn how to quieten and relax your mind and how to respond to stressful situations with new sense of calmness, using appropriate pranayama breathing technique. You will learn that by shifting and correcting your posture, you can send a very different message about yourself to the world.

Not only will you accept but you will begin to appreciate your body for its complexity and beauty. Yoga for Women`s health particularly places attention on creating body awareness, self love and confidence.

Sound healing therapy

Next to my private yoga sessions you can also enjoy the Sound Healing Therapy with Himalayan Singing Bowl, which complements with the main principles of Hatha Yoga, optimising the flow of energy throughout our body.

What can you expect from your private yoga session?

We begin by completing a health questionnaire together, discussing your health conditions in detail. We will establish what your main aspiration is, what you would like to achieve through your yoga practice and how you would like to feel. We follow with a general yoga session to assess how you are. You might have some easy homework practise to do in between our private yoga sessions together. I truly recommend booking your sessions in a block of six, as this way we have the opportunity to follow your improvement in a specific time-frame.
